What are Tiffany's qualifications?
- Tiffany Rochester is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Psychologist's Board of Western Australia and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Tiffany has a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Applied Psychology with Clinical specialisation, both completed at Murdoch University.
How long will my session go for?
- Sessions will usually last around 50 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
- This will be discussed with you at your first consultation.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
- You do not need a GP referral to see a psychologist, however only people with a referral from their GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician can be bulk billed.
- The Medicare rebate is $110 per session, for a maximum of 12 sessions in a calendar year. Tiffany bulk bills all eligible clients, so there is no out-of-pocket expense. After six sessions, you would need to be reviewed by your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
How much will my consultations be if I don't have a referral?
- Accounts finalised on the day receive a discount, and are charged at $110 per consultation. Exact change is appreciated. Accounts not finalised on the day of consultation are charged at $200 per consultation. The Australian Psychological Society recommended fee is $200 for a standard one hour psychological consultation. All eligible clients will be bulk billed. Clients who do not have a referral should check their eligibility for a rebate with their private health fund.
What if I need to cancel a session?
- Please give as much notice as possible. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of $50.
